IFDEA seeks to improve global health by improving oral health. Our efforts are based upon the shared understanding that oral health is an integral part of general health and well-being, and our belief that by sharing knowledge within the global dental education community, we can successfully raise standards and improve oral health worldwide.
An important aspect of IFDEA’s role is to facilitate a better understanding of issues of diversity and inequality in global health, generally, and oral health specifically.
